Platelet-Rich Plasma
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a regenerative and biostimulating treatment that activates the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin.
Stimulates collagen and elastin production.
Improves skin texture, radiance and hydration.
A safe, biocompatible treatment made from your own blood.
What is Platelet-Rich Plasma?
PRP is obtained from the patient's own blood through a centrifugation process that separates the platelets and growth factors.
These factors are responsible for stimulating cell regeneration and the formation of new collagen and elastin fibres, giving younger-looking, firmer and more radiant skin.
What is platelet-rich plasma used for?
🔹 In facial rejuvenation:
✅ Dull, dehydrated skin.
✅ Fine lines and loss of firmness.
✅ Acne scars and marks.
✅ Improved skin tone and texture.
🔹 In hair treatment:
✅ Hair loss or weakened hair.
✅ Fine hair or hair lacking density.
✅ Strengthening of the scalp.
✅ Androgenetic or seasonal alopecia.
🔹 In other medical applications:
✅ Tissue regeneration in muscle and joint injuries.
✅ Faster healing in aesthetic treatments.
What does the treatment involve?
1️⃣ A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient.
2️⃣ Centrifugation to obtain the platelet-rich plasma.
3️⃣ Application of the PRP to the skin or scalp through micro-injections.
4️⃣ Gentle massage for better absorption.
The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes and requires no recovery time.
After the treatment
✅ Avoid direct sun exposure and use SPF50 protection.
✅ Do not apply make-up or touch the treated area for 24 hours.
✅ Intensive hydration and follow medical advice.
✅ Avoid intense exercise and saunas for the first 48 hours.
Patients can resume their routine straight away, as the treatment requires no recovery.

We answer the most common questions about platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment. Find all the information you need here to make your decision with complete confidence.
How many sessions are needed?
For the best results, 3–4 initial sessions (one every 4–6 weeks) are recommended, with maintenance sessions every 6–12 months.
Is it a safe treatment?
Yes, as it is an autologous procedure (the patient’s own blood is used), the risk of allergy or rejection is very low. Minor bruising or slight, temporary swelling may appear in the treated area.
Does PRP application hurt?
It is a well-tolerated procedure. Topical anaesthesia can be applied to minimise any discomfort.
How long does it take to see results?
The effects on the skin start to show within a few weeks, with improvements in firmness, hydration and radiance. In the hair, strengthening is seen after 2–3 months.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes, PRP enhances the effects of other aesthetic treatments such as mesotherapy, hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin and collagen stimulators.
Is it suitable for all skin types?
Yes, PRP is suitable for all skin types and ages, in both men and women.
