Online Assessment Blepharoplasty
Find out if blepharoplasty is right for you with a personalized video consultation with our expert ophthalmologists and oculoplastic surgeons.
What is Blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty is a cosmetic surgery that corrects excess skin and bags under the eyes, a condition that can make your face look tired and aged.
The procedure is performed on both the upper and lower eyelids, depending on the patient's needs.
This surgery improves the aesthetics of the eye and can, in some cases, also benefit visual function if excess skin is interfering with vision.
Before and after
Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty and Brow Lift
For a comprehensive and harmonious aesthetic rejuvenation, a combined surgery was planned: a brow lift to enhance the eye area, upper blepharoplasty to open the eyelids, and lower blepharoplasty to correct under-eye bags. The result is a visibly more open, refreshed, and rested expression, in complete harmony with her natural features.
Before and after
Upper Blepharoplasty and Brow Lift
To correct the appearance of "heavy eyelids" and rejuvenate the eyes, a high-precision surgery was performed combining three techniques: an upper blepharoplasty to remove excess skin, repositioning of the sagging tear duct, and a brow lift (browpexy). The result, after just a month and a half, is a visibly more open, refreshed, and youthful appearance, with a uniform eyelid and a more lifted brow.
Before and after
Blepharoplasty and Replacement of the Lacrimal Gland
In this case, in addition to excess skin on the upper eyelid, the patient presented with a bulge in the outer area that became much more noticeable when closing her eyes. This bulge was caused by a dislocated (or herniated) lacrimal gland. For optimal aesthetic results, an upper blepharoplasty was performed, combining the removal of excess skin with the repositioning and anchoring of the gland in its correct location, thus addressing the root cause of the problem.
Before and after
Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty, Brow Lift and CO2 Laser
This case is the perfect example of a comprehensive aesthetic rejuvenation of the eyes, where all signs of aging were addressed for a harmonious result. A surgical procedure was planned that combined a brow lift with a complete blepharoplasty (upper and lower) to reposition the tissues and remove excess skin and under-eye bags. As a complementary treatment, CO₂ laser resurfacing was performed to improve skin quality and texture, achieving a complete yet natural transformation.
Before and after
Upper Blepharoplasty
The challenge with this young patient was to correct the "A-shaped deformity" of her eyelid, which gave it a sunken and uneven appearance. A high-precision upper blepharoplasty was planned, removing a minimal amount of skin and focusing on restoring volume to achieve an ideal eyelid contour. The result is a much more symmetrical, harmonious, and aesthetically balanced look, while maintaining a natural appearance.
Before and after
Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty
To rejuvenate this patient's eyes, a two-pronged approach was designed. First, the fat pads were removed through a transconjunctival blepharoplasty (internally, without a visible scar on the skin). Second, a lateral skin tightening procedure was performed to firm the eyelid skin. This combination of techniques allows us to achieve a firmer, more rested, and natural look, always respecting her original expression.

📑 About the Video Consultation
What exactly is a video assessment consultation?
This is an initial medical consultation conducted via video call with one of our specialist surgeons. It allows you to receive a professional initial assessment of your case from the comfort of your home, without needing to travel to the clinic for this first contact.
What is the objective of this first video consultation?
The goal is twofold: first, to allow you to meet our specialist, discuss your concerns, and have all your initial questions answered. Second, to enable the doctor to perform a preliminary assessment to determine if you are a good candidate for blepharoplasty and explain the procedure to you.
Does this video consultation replace an in-person visit?
No. The video consultation is an initial, informative consultation. To establish a definitive diagnosis and surgical plan, a subsequent in-person consultation is essential, during which the necessary measurements and physical examinations will be performed.
Which doctor will I talk to?
The video consultation will be directly with one of our ophthalmologists and oculoplastic surgeons, Dr. Javier Ramírez or Dr. Sonia Gálvez.
💻 Preparation and Technical Aspects
What do I need for the video consultation?
You only need three things: a device with a camera and microphone (mobile phone, tablet or computer), a stable internet connection and a quiet, well-lit place where you can talk in privacy.
How do I connect to the video consultation?
It’s very simple. We use Google Meet. Once you book your appointment, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the date, time, and a direct link to the video call. Just click on that link at your appointment time. You don’t need a Google account.
Should I send photos before the appointment?
Yes, it’s highly recommended. After booking your appointment, we’ll send you simple instructions on how to upload photos of your face. This greatly helps the doctor get a clear picture of your case before the video consultation.
Should I attend the video consultation without makeup?
Yes, it’s highly recommended. For the doctor to properly assess the condition of your eyelid skin, its texture, and color, it’s essential that you come to the video consultation with a completely clean face and no makeup around your eyes. This will allow us to make a much more accurate assessment.
💳 Cost and Appointment Management
Does the video consultation have any cost?
Yes, the initial video consultation costs [XX]€. This fee guarantees the dedicated time and attention of a specialist surgeon to thoroughly examine your case.
How and when is the payment made?
Payment is made securely by credit or debit card at the time of booking the appointment through our online platform.
If I ultimately decide to have surgery, will the cost of this consultation be deducted?
Yes! The cost of this initial assessment will be fully deducted from the final price of your blepharoplasty surgery.
Can I change the date or time of my appointment?
Of course. If you need to change your appointment, just contact us by phone or email at least 48 hours in advance and we’ll find a new time slot for you.
⏭️ After the Video Consultation
What happens when the video consultation ends?
At the end of the call, we will send you an email with a summary of the doctor’s preliminary assessment. This email will also explain the next steps if you decide to continue with the process.
Will I receive a detailed quote?
Yes. Along with the assessment summary, you will receive an estimated cost estimate that includes the doctor’s fees, operating room costs, and post-operative check-ups. The final, fixed-price estimate will be provided during your in-person consultation, once the exact measurements have been taken.
Does the video consultation commit me to anything?
Absolutely nothing. This initial assessment is meant to inform and guide you. The decision to proceed is yours and yours alone, and you can take all the time you need to consider it.
What's the next step if I decide to move forward?
The next step is an in-person pre-surgical consultation at the clinic of your choice (Lucena or Torre del Mar). During this visit, the doctor will perform a complete physical examination, we will take pre-operative photos, and answer any remaining questions before scheduling your surgery.
