Refractive surgery is the most significant advance for patients who want to end their dependence on glasses or contact lenses and dramatically improve their quality of life. At Clínica Ramírez & Gálvez, under the direction of Dr Sonia Gálvez and Dr. Javier Ramírez, we apply a personalised medicine protocol in which safety and technical precision are the cornerstones of every procedure.
🔬 Laser technology and intraocular lenses: tailor-made solutions
There is no single treatment for every vision problem. Depending on each patient’s eye anatomy and needs, we use different surgical approaches to correct conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism or presbyopia:
- High-precision laser techniques: We use advanced laser technology to reshape the cornea with micrometric precision, allowing a quick visual recovery with minimal discomfort.
- Intraocular lenses: Where laser is not the ideal option, such as in cataract surgery or the correction of presbyopia, we implant latest-generation lenses that replace or complement the function of the natural lens. This procedure restores vision at different distances with exceptional sharpness.
✨ Medical rigour in caring for your eye health
Our daily work at our clinics in Lucena and Torre del Mar goes beyond correcting dioptres. Every operation is backed by a thorough pre-operative assessment that allows us to predict results and minimise risks. The use of high-resolution microscopy and advanced monitoring systems in our operating theatres ensures that the surgeon works with complete visibility and control.
